The Solid State Relay with Socket (2A, 24–264 V AC / 9-26 V DC coil) switches AC loads electronically rather than mechanically. There is no contact bounce, no arcing and no audible click, and nothing inside wears out from switching.
The control input accepts 9–26 V DC, so it can be driven directly from a PIERRE Pro controller output. The output switches loads from 24 V AC up to 264 V AC at up to 2 A.
Because there are no moving parts it suits circuits that switch often — circulation pumps, thermal valve actuators, and lighting under scene or schedule control — where a mechanical relay would wear out. It ships with a slim DIN-rail socket, and common potentials can be bridged across a row using the Busbar range for 49F Slim SSR rather than looping wire between terminals.
Solid-state relays dissipate heat in proportion to the load they carry, so adequate ventilation and derating should be considered in densely packed enclosures. When selecting the relay, the end user should follow the technical specifications.
