The MikroTik netPower 15FR (CRS318-1Fi-15Fr-2S-OUT) is a rugged outdoor Layer 2 switch designed for ISP and GPEN (Gigabit Passive Ethernet Network) deployments. It features a durable IP54-rated enclosure, making it suitable for installation in harsh environments such as poles, attics, elevator shafts, or outdoor cabinets.
The device provides 16 Fast Ethernet (10/100 Mbps) ports, including 15 reverse PoE-in ports and one PoE-out port, allowing it to be powered directly from connected clients while also supplying power to another device if needed. Additionally, it includes two SFP ports for fiber uplink connectivity.
Powered by an 800 MHz ARM CPU with 256 MB RAM, the switch supports both RouterOS and SwitchOS (dual boot), offering flexible management and advanced Layer 2 features.
With a non-blocking throughput of 3.6 Gbps and switching capacity of 7.2 Gbps, the netPower 15FR delivers reliable performance for access networks. Its passive cooling design ensures silent operation and high reliability in temperatures ranging from –40°C to +70°C.
