The Leakage Sensor in the PIERRE Partner app enhances home automation by enabling real-time responses to potential water leaks, ensuring both safety and efficiency in your smart home.
Key Features:
1. Adding a New Leakage Sensor:
- To add a Leakage Sensor, open the PIERRE Partner app and choose the appropriate Controller. Go to the Inputs tab, tap the Add button, and select Leakage Sensor as the type. Complete the form with fields like Name, Group, Role, Picture (to represent the sensor), Identifier (which links the sensor to the I/O in the electrical project), and the Signal Type that will trigger its activation. Confirm the setup by tapping Submit or Save.
2. Editing a Leakage Sensor:
- To edit an existing Leakage Sensor, select the Controller, navigate to the Inputs tab, and choose the sensor you want to modify from the list. You can update fields such as Name, Group, Role, Picture, Identifier, and Signal Type. Once the changes are made, confirm by tapping Submit or Done, or delete the sensor by selecting the Delete button.
3. Automated Responses:
- When a leak is detected, the Leakage Sensor can automatically perform actions such as closing the main water valve, activating alarms, or sending emergency alerts to your smartphone. This automation helps minimize damage by providing faster responses than manual intervention.

- The Leakage Sensor offers peace of mind, especially for homes at risk of water-related issues. By reducing the likelihood of significant water damage, it adds an essential layer of security for safeguarding vulnerable areas.

You can add Leakage sensor very fast from the Controllers.
Tap on the Controller that you would like to add new I/O to.
To edit the I/O, click on the Controller to which the I/O is added.
Inputs tab is selected.
List of Inputs is shown.
In order to add new Input tap on the Add button.
From the list that is shown tap on the desired I/O that you would like to add.
Fill the following form:
- Name - Write the name of the Leakage sensor.
- Role - Choose Role from the list.
- Group - Choose Group from the list. Group is a group of I/O and scenarios that seems most logical to you.
- Pin - Choose Pin from the list. Pin is physical place on the Controller where I/O is connected to it.
- Photo - Choose photo for the Leakage sensor.
- Identifier - This field is the identifier of the I/O in the electrical project.
- Advanced - You can choose type of the signal that activates or tiggers the Leakage sensor: rising, falling, change, change inverted.
- Timeout - It is the duration for which the Leakage sensor will remain active in auto mode.

When you want to confirm your choice tap button Save and Submit.
Tap in the field Roles.
Select checkbox/checkboxes (for multiple choice) next to the Role/Roles that you would like to choose.
To confirm selection tap the button Save/Done.
In this step you should select Group.
Select check box/check boxes next to the desired Group/Groups from the list.
When you want to confirm your choice tap button Done/Save.
Tap on the photo of the Leakage sensor.
You have three options:
Open Library - The phone’s Library will open.
Open Camera - You can take a picture using your smartphone.
Choose default image - These images are prepared in advance in order to provide a complete and seamless experience.
Tap on the radio button next to the Pin that you would like to choose.
To confirm selection tap on Save/Done.
Click radio button next to the type of signal that you would like to choose.
You can choose:
- Rising
- Falling
- Change
- Change inverted
You can choose type of the signal that activates or triggers the Leakage sensor.
You can edit Leakage sensor from the Controllers.
Tap on the Controller that you would like to add new I/O to.
To edit the I/O, click on the Controller to which the I/O is added.
Tab Inputs is selected, scroll and tap on the I/O from the list that you would like to edit.
Edit following form:
- Name - Edit the name of the Leakage sensor.
- Role - Choose Role from the list.
- Group - Choose Group from the list. Group is a group of I/O and scenarios that seems most logical to you.
- Pin - Choose Pin from the list. Pin is physical place on the Controller where I/O is connected to it.
