The Siren in the PIERRE Partner app enhances home security by providing real-time alerts and automated responses during security breaches, allowing for seamless integration with other smart devices in your home.
Key Features:
1.Adding a New Siren:
- To add a Siren, open the PIERRE Partner app and select the appropriate Controller. Navigate to the Outputs tab and tap the Add button, then choose Siren as the type. Fill out the form with details such as Name, Group, Role, and Pin. You can also upload photos to represent both the On and Off statuses of the Siren. Confirm the setup by tapping Submit and Save.
2. Editing a Siren:
- To edit an existing Siren, select the Controller, go to the Outputs tab, and choose the Siren from the list. You can edit fields such as Name, Group, Role, Pin, and Photos. Additionally, the Slide to Confirm feature can be activated or deactivated, allowing for a confirmation step before any actions are performed. You can also choose to hide activity and set or clear the Timeout settings.
3. Increased Safety:
- The Siren provides real-time alerts during security breaches, ensuring an immediate response to potential threats. It can automate alarms based on specific triggers, such as motion detection or door/window sensor activation, ensuring the home remains secure without constant monitoring.
4. Convenient Management:
- Managing Sirens within the PIERRE Partner app is straightforward and flexible. Users can easily reconfigure their security setup by removing or modifying Sirens as needed, without disrupting other components of the smart home system. - The Siren can be included in automation scenarios to enhance security. For example, you can set up automation so that when a Motion Sensor detects movement, the Siren is activated immediately. - The Siren works seamlessly with other smart devices in the PIERRE ecosystem. It can be connected to environmental sensors, motion detectors, and door/window sensors, providing comprehensive control and enhanced reliability. The Siren in the PIERRE Partner app is an essential component of any security setup, offering real-time protection, automation capabilities, and seamless integration with other smart home devices.
A new Siren can be adde in a few steps.
Tap on the Controller that you would like to add new I/O to.
To edit the I/O, click on the Controller to which the I/O is added.
Tap on the Outputs at the top and tap on the button Add.
Tap on the type of the desired I/O that you would like to add.
Fill the following form:
- Name - Enter the name of the Siren.
- Role - Select the appropriate Role from the list.
- Group - Choose a Group from the list that logically organizes the I/O and scenarios.
- Pin - Select the Pin, which corresponds to the physical location on the Controller where the device will be added.
- Photo - Choose or change the photo for the Siren to represent its On and Off statuses.
- Slide to Confirm - When enabled, you will be asked to confirm the desired operation to prevent accidental actions.
- Identifier - Enter the identifier for the I/O as specified in the electrical project.
- Hide Activity - Use this option to hide the I/O activity from the Activity tab.
- Timeout - It is the duration for which the Siren will remain turned On in auto mode.
- Clear Timeout - Immediately stops the Siren and resets its timer to its default settings when deactivated.
When you want to confirm your choice tap on Submit and Save.
You can select desired Role or Roles - multiple choice if you tap on the checkboxes next to them.
Tap on Save/Done.
In this step, you need to select one or more Groups.
Select the checkbox/checkboxes next to the Group/Groups that you want to associate with the I/O.
Once selected, the I/O will appear in the chosen Groups on the Dashboard.
Tap Save/Done to confirm your selection.
Tap on the radio button next to the Pin that you would like to choose.
To confirm selection tap on Save/Done.
There are three sources of photos (for both statuses):
- Open Library - It will open Library from your phone.
- Open Camera - You can take picture by your phone.
- Choose default image - Choose default image. These images are prepared in advance in order to provide a complete and seamless experience.
Scroll each of the columns (hours, minutes, seconds) to set Timeout and tap button Save.
You can edit Siren fast and easy from the Controllers.
Tap on the Controller that you would like to add new I/O to.
To edit the I/O, click on the Controller to which the I/O is added.
Tap on the Outputs tab, scroll to the desired I/O from the list and tap on it.
Edit the following form:
- Name - Edit the name of the Siren.
- Role - Select the appropriate Role from the list.
- Group - Choose a Group from the list that logically organizes the I/O and scenarios.
- Pin - Select the Pin, which corresponds to the physical location on the Controller where the device will be added.
- Photo - Choose or change the photo for the Siren to represent its On and Off statuses.
- Slide to Confirm - When enabled, you will be asked to confirm the desired operation to prevent accidental actions.
- Identifier - Enter the identifier for the I/O as specified in the electrical project.
- Hide Activity - Use this option to hide the I/O activity from the Activity tab.

When you want to confirm your choice tap Submit and Done. Or if you would like to Delete the Siren tap on the button Delete.
