PIERRE Wave - Curved Series 1 Gang Light Switch - Black (no Neutral) is a device engineered as a single-switch unit tailored for managing either a one light or one group of the lights.
The device includes a wall-mounted panel designed to seamlessly integrate due to the curved design of the device.
Its internal switch electronics allow easy control of electricity flow via touch button for simple on/off operation.
A smart touch switch features a touch-sensitive surface instead of physical buttons or switches. Users can control lights by simply touching or tapping the switch panel. Terminals are available for connecting electrical wires, typically accommodating both a live ("L") wire and a switched live ("Load") wire. There is a situation where only the live (L) line is present without a dedicated neutral (N) line (no neutral, or N optional).
The "no Neutral" feature means the switch can operate without requiring a neutral wire in the electrical installation.
This makes it suitable for retrofitting into older homes or buildings where neutral wires may not be present in the switch box. The L+N configuration ensures that current flows safely from the power source, through the appliance, and back to the source via the neutral line.
Housed securely within a back box, the switch ensures stability for wiring connections and overall installation.

A - Required Elements:
- PIERRE Wave Products: These smart devices, including lighting, thermostats, sensors, and other appliances, connect wirelessly to the PIERRE Wave Gateway. They provide essential functions and capabilities for the system.
- PIERRE Wave Gateway: The central unit linking all PIERRE Wave devices, the gateway manages communication and data exchange, ensuring security and stability. It supports remote access and control, with the default Berlin display interface, though users can choose any PIERRE display model.
B - Optional Elements:
- Mobile PIERRE App: This app allows users to manage and monitor the system from their smartphone or tablet, offering real-time updates and remote access. It provides convenience but is not necessary for basic system operation.
- Router: An optional component that enables internet connectivity, allowing devices to be accessed and controlled remotely.
- System Operation: The gateway can connect to the router via Wi-Fi or LAN for internet connectivity, enhancing remote management capabilities. PIERRE Wave products communicate wirelessly with the gateway, which acts as the central hub. This bidirectional communication allows data to flow both ways, enabling users to send commands and receive status updates through the Mobile PIERRE App. The app facilitates effective management and real-time feedback on device statuses.
