The PIERRE Pro - RFID reader (Keypad + Fingerprint) is an access control device, combining keypad and fingertip reader technologies for secure, keyless entry solutions.
It uses Atmel MCU assuring stable performance. The operation is very user-friendly, and the low-power circuit makes it have a long service life.
The device is equipped with a fingerprint reader that is a small, flat surface with a biometric sensor where users place their finger for authentication, a keypad which is often integrated into the device. It allows users to enter a PIN or password as an alternative method of authentication. LED indicator lights indicate the status of the device, such as whether it's ready for input or if access has been granted or denied.
RFID card reader reads RFID cards or tags, which users can use for access alongside fingerprint authentication.
The device offers versatile access options including: card-only, PIN-only, fingerprint-only, card and PIN combined, or multiple cards/PINs/fingerprints access modes. It also includes advanced functionalities such as: block enrollment, interlock capabilities, and support for Wiegand input and output interfaces, among other features. The device includes features like tablet/smartphone notifications and a capacitive button for quick access.
On one PIERRE controller, you have the option to add 2 RFID readers. If you don't need feedback, you have the option to add 4 RFID readers. Two card readers can be connected parallel in the same digital I/O if they both open the same door.
The device supports 1000 users (988 common users + 2 panic users + 10 visitor users), all data can be transferred from one to another (except fingertip users).
