The PIERRE Wave Smart Bulb E27 (RGBCW) is an advanced LED light bulb designed for smart homes, providing extensive lighting options and control capabilities.

RGBCW stands for Red, Green, Blue, Cool White, and Warm White. It means the bulb is capable of producing millions of colors by mixing different intensities of red, green, and blue light. Additionally, it can emit both cool white (bluish-white) and warm white (yellowish-white) light, giving you flexibility in choosing the right ambiance or task lighting.

The E27 base refers to the type of socket the bulb uses. E27 (Edison 27 mm) is a standard size for screw-in light bulb bases used in many countries. It fits into most standard lamp sockets and fixtures designed for incandescent or LED bulbs.

These products with an E27 base are smart bulbs, which means they are controlled remotely or integrated into a smart home system. This allows you to adjust brightness, change colors, set schedules, and create lighting scenes using your mobile device.

Like most LED bulbs, these bulbs are energy-efficient, consuming significantly less electricity than traditional incandescent bulbs while offering comparable brightness.

They are popular for creating dynamic lighting effects, setting the mood for different activities or times of day, and enhancing the ambiance of homes, offices, or commercial spaces.

You can set automation in order to turn on the bulb like this - start with a soft warm white light to simulate sunrise and gently wake you up then continue with gradual brightness increase. Over a period of 15 minutes, gradually increase the brightness to full intensity. You can set color transitions, too. As the bulb reaches full brightness, transition to a cool white light to mimic daylight. Set the automation to end after 30 minutes or upon your command.

When you create a scenario for a pleasant  atmosphere  you can set blinds to go down, curtains to close, night lights to be turned off and  these bulbs to turn on with soft warm white light.

System requirements

The PIERRE Wave system is a user-friendly solution for integrating and managing smart devices through a central platform. The system consists of the following components:

A - Required Elements:

  1. PIERRE Wave Products: These smart devices, including lighting, thermostats, sensors, and other appliances, connect wirelessly to the PIERRE Wave Gateway. They provide essential functions and capabilities for the system.
  2. PIERRE Wave Gateway: The central unit linking all PIERRE Wave devices, the gateway manages communication and data exchange, ensuring security and stability. It supports remote access and control, with the default Berlin display interface, though users can choose any PIERRE display model.

B - Optional Elements:

  1. Mobile PIERRE App: This app allows users to manage and monitor the system from their smartphone or tablet, offering real-time updates and remote access. It provides convenience but is not necessary for basic system operation.
  2. Router: An optional component that enables internet connectivity, allowing devices to be accessed and controlled remotely.

  1. System Operation: The gateway can connect to the router via Wi-Fi or LAN for internet connectivity, enhancing remote management capabilities. PIERRE Wave products communicate wirelessly with the gateway, which acts as the central hub. This bidirectional communication allows data to flow both ways, enabling users to send commands and receive status updates through the Mobile PIERRE App. The app facilitates effective management and real-time feedback on device statuses.
