The Blinds and Curtains Automation feature in the Smart Pierre app allows you to automate the positioning of blinds and curtains based on brightness sensors, presence sensors, and time-based conditions. This ensures that your home is efficiently managed for both comfort and energy savings.
Key Features:
1. Brightness Sensor-Based Automation:
- Blinds and curtains can be automated using brightness sensors to adjust their position based on the amount of daylight. For example, during bright daylight, the blinds can lower automatically to block excess sunlight, and in the evening, they can rise to let in more natural light.
2. Presence Sensor-Based Automation:
- Blinds and curtains can also respond to presence sensors, adjusting their position when someone enters or leaves the room. This adds an extra layer of convenience and energy efficiency, ensuring optimal comfort when the room is occupied.
3. Time and Day Period Automation:
- Blinds and curtains can be set to open or close at specific times of the day. For instance, you can automate the blinds to rise every morning at sunrise and lower in the evening for privacy.
4. Customizable Automation:
- Once blinds and curtains are set to auto mode, they will follow the automation rules defined in the Automations tab. You can customize scenarios where blinds respond to daylight conditions, presence in the room, and specific times, creating a seamless home environment.
The Blinds and Curtains Automation feature enhances comfort and energy efficiency by adjusting the light levels and privacy in your home automatically, based on your daily routine and preferences.
