Description

The Light Automation feature in the Smart Pierre app allows you to automate lighting based on various sensor inputs or time-based conditions. This ensures that lights turn on or off automatically, enhancing both energy efficiency and convenience.

Key Features:

    1.    Sensor-Based Automation:
    •    Lights can be automated using a range of sensors, such as:
    •    Light sensors: Adjust lights based on the amount of natural light.
    •    Motion sensors: Activate lights when motion is detected, ideal for areas like hallways.
    •    Presence sensors: Ensure lights stay on as long as someone is in the room.
    2.    Time and Day Period Automation:
    •    Lights can also be set to turn on or off based on specific times or periods of the day, such as automatically dimming at sunset or brightening in the morning.
    3.    Customizable Automation:
    •    Once a light is set to auto mode, it will follow the automation rules defined in the Automations tab. For example, hallway lights can turn on using motion sensors, while living room lights might rely on both light and motion sensors for a seamless experience.

The Light Automation feature makes smart lighting more intuitive and adaptable to your daily routines, optimizing energy use and comfort.
