Description

The Plug Automation feature in the Smart PIERRE app enables users to manage electrical outlets efficiently by automating their control based on time schedules, sensor inputs, or other conditions such as light levels. This ensures smart power management and energy savings.

Key benefits of Plug automation include:

  1. Time-Based Automation:
  •  Plugs can be set to turn On or Off at specific times of the day, such as automatically turning Off appliances overnight or turning On devices during peak usage hours, or when electricity is cheaper.

 2. Sensor-Based Automation:

  • Plugs can be automated using sensors like Motion or Presence sensors. For example, a plug can turn Off if no motion is detected in a room, helping conserve energy.

3. Light-Based Automation:

  •  Plugs can also be automated based on light levels. For instance, when sunlight is sufficient, and solar panels generate electricity, plugs can automatically turn On to optimize energy consumption from renewable sources.

4. Customizable Automations:

  • Users can create custom automations to control the Plug based on specific conditions, such as power usage, time, light levels, or other triggers, for increased energy efficiency.

5. Remote Control:

  • Users can remotely turn plugs On or Off via the Smart PIERRE app, providing convenience and control over home appliances, even when not at home.

6. Energy Monitoring:

  • Plugs can monitor power consumption, allowing users to track energy usage and optimize efficiency.

This feature is fully integrated with the PIERRE smart home platform, providing a convenient way to manage home devices, ensure energy savings, and utilize power efficiently, whether from solar panels or based on energy pricing.
