The Button in the Smart PIERRE application serves as a versatile control tool within your smart home system. Key features include:
- Functionality: Can be used for opening doors, gates, and controlling blinds, lights providing convenient access and adjustments to your home environment.
- Wired connection: Ensures reliable communication with other components in the PIERRE smart home system, eliminating concerns about battery life or connectivity issues.
Integrating the Button with other devices enhances overall functionality:
- Automation capabilities: Can be linked to multiple actions, allowing you to open a gate while simultaneously raising the blinds.
- Seamless control: Improves user experience by enabling customized interactions with your smart home devices.
- Cohesive environment: Fosters an integrated smart home system that optimizes daily tasks and enhances convenience based on user preferences.
You can edit Button from the I/O list Menu.
Open Menu, under Settings, tap on I/O.
Open I/O list, scroll to Buttons and tap the desired Button, in this case tap on Curtain open.
Edit the following fields:
- Name - Change the Button's name.
- Photo - Select the source for the Button's photo.
Tap Submit/Done.
Tap on the picture of the Button.
You have options:
Open Library - The phone’s Library will open.
Open Camera - You can take a picture using your smartphone.
Choose default image - These images are prepared in advance in order to provide a complete and seamless experience.
Remove image - Removes existing image.
This section displays all scenarios and automations where the Button is used. If unused, a message will read: "This I/O is not in use anywhere." This feature consolidates all relevant information in one place.
In this case, button Curtain open is used for automation of the Dimmable light.
