Description

In the PIERRE smart home system, elevator door control offers a convenient and automated approach to managing elevator doors, seamlessly integrating them with the overall system for enhanced remote control and monitoring.

  1. Elevator Door Integration: Users can operate elevator doors through the Smart PIERRE application or PIERRE displays, enabling real-time control and monitoring. Integration with RFID readers ensures that only authorized users can access the elevator, enhancing security.
  2. Relay Module Connection: To integrate elevator doors, a relay module connects the elevator’s control mechanism to the PIERRE Controller. This setup allows commands to be sent from the system to the elevator doors for both remote and automated operation. Configuration is managed through the PIERRE Partner application, where control methods such as RFID or button inputs can be set up for efficient door management.
  3. Automation and Scheduling: The system supports automation routines and scheduling, allowing users to program the elevator doors to operate based on specific conditions or times. For example, doors can be set to open automatically during peak hours or close after a set period of inactivity. This automation enhances convenience and ensures the elevator operates smoothly according to user preferences.
  4. Wiring and Installation: Wiring involves connecting the relay module to the elevator’s control points and the PIERRE Controller, ensuring stable communication and power. Once installed, users can manage elevator doors seamlessly through the Smart PIERRE app or PIERRE displays, benefiting from a fully automated and efficient system.
Troubleshooting
What happens if there is a power outage?

If the power goes out, smart devices will retain their last state and resume functionality when power is restored. For critical devices, battery backups can be used to maintain operation during an outage.
