The Blinds feature in the PIERRE Partner app allows users to automate and control blinds with customizable settings, enhancing convenience and energy efficiency in their smart home.
Key Features:
1. Adding Blinds:
- To add blinds, select the appropriate Controller, navigate to the Outputs tab, and choose Blinds as the type. Fill in details like Name, Role, Group, and upload photos for both Up and Closed positions. Set the Up Direction and Down Direction, adjust the Collapse Time for operation, and enable or disable the Hide Activity feature. You can also add new buttons for Button Up and Button Down. Confirm by tapping Submit and Save.
2. Editing Blinds:
- To edit blinds, go to the Outputs tab in the Controller, select the blinds from the list, and edit fields such as Name, Role, Group, photos for both positions (Up and Closed), Identifier, Up Direction, Down Direction, and Collapse Time. You can also modify the Level Control, Hide Activity, and edit buttons for Button Up and Button Down. Confirm by tapping Submit and Done.
3. Automated Scenarios:
Blinds can be included in automated scenarios. For instance, in the Cinema scenario, all blinds in the living room close, dimming lights activate, and curtains close, creating the perfect environment for watching movies.
Automating blinds based on sunlight helps reduce heating and cooling costs, thus improving energy efficiency. They also enhance comfort by adjusting indoor lighting and temperature when linked with environmental sensors. Additionally, blinds provide increased security by closing when no one is home, giving the appearance of occupancy and ensuring privacy.
4. Seamless Integration:
- Blinds seamlessly integrate with other smart devices in the PIERRE system. They can adjust based on sunlight or temperature, optimizing energy usage and comfort.
The Blinds feature in the PIERRE Partner app offers a flexible, automated solution for managing window coverings, improving energy efficiency, comfort, and security.
