Description

The Pierre system supports multiple types of doorbell buttons to integrate seamlessly with smart home functions. These buttons can range from simple dry contact buttons to advanced RFID readers, making them suitable for a variety of applications.

Key Options:

    1.    Dry Contact Button:
    •    A standard dry contact button can be used as a basic doorbell. When pressed, it triggers the connected Pierre display or smartphone to notify occupants that someone is at the door. This button is simple and reliable for standard installations.
    2.    RFID Reader with Button:
    •    RFID readers with an integrated button can serve a dual function. Not only can the button act as a doorbell, but the RFID reader allows for access control, providing a solution for secure entry and visitor notification in one device.
    3.    Hospitality RFID Reader:
    •    In a more advanced setup, hospitality RFID readers can include a doorbell button. These systems are designed for hotels and similar environments, where the Pierre system can trigger notifications on displays or mobile devices when the button is pressed, and also manage room access via RFID.

Additional Features:

    •    Audio Notification:
    •    When paired with a Pierre controller, a device can be added to generate an audible signal when the doorbell is pressed, ensuring that both visual and sound alerts are available.

The Pierre doorbell button setup provides flexibility, allowing for simple to advanced configurations based on the needs of the environment. Whether using a dry contact button or integrating it with an RFID reader, the system can alert displays, phones, or controllers, making it a versatile part of the Pierre smart home ecosystem.
