Description

The Pierre system supports a wide range of compatible temperature sensors that can be connected to the Pierre controller, ensuring accurate and efficient temperature monitoring. While various temperature sensors can be integrated into the system, we recommend using Pierre’s own temperature sensors for optimal compatibility and precision.

Key Features:

    1.    Multiple Sensor Options:
    •    A variety of temperature sensors can be connected to the Pierre controller, both wired and wireless. These sensors ensure flexibility in installation, whether you’re monitoring indoor spaces, outdoor environments, or specific areas like heating or cooling zones.
    2.    Optimized Compatibility:
    •    Pierre temperature sensors are designed to work seamlessly with the system, offering greater compatibility and ensuring that all features—such as automation and remote monitoring—are fully supported without any integration issues.
    3.    Precise Temperature Readings:
    •    Pierre’s sensors are calibrated for high precision, providing reliable and accurate temperature data. This ensures that your heating, cooling, and other temperature-dependent automations operate at their best.
    4.    Reliable Integration:
    •    While third-party sensors can be connected to the system, using Pierre’s temperature sensors guarantees that all devices communicate effectively with the Pierre controller, reducing the likelihood of compatibility issues or incorrect readings.

By choosing Pierre temperature sensors, users benefit from seamless integration, high precision, and fully supported automations within the Pierre smart home ecosystem, ensuring that temperature monitoring and control are both efficient and reliable.

Troubleshooting
Where should the temperature sensor be installed?

The temperature sensor should be installed at eye level, away from drafts or external walls, for accurate temperature monitoring.

How many temperature sensors do I need?

You need at least one sensor for basic heating/cooling control. It’s practical to install sensors in each heating/cooling zone or room where you want individual temperature control.

How should the sensors be wired?

Each sensor (motion, light, contact, etc.) should be individually wired to the PIERRE control cabinet in a star pattern.
